Bellamy Surveying and Consultancy Services Ltd is an independently owned and operated building surveyors and consultancy specialising in the field of asbestos. Founded in 2003 by Kevin Bellamy, the company has for two decades worked across the UK within the private and public sectors providing an end-to-end asbestos management solution from inspection through to removal management and consultancy.
Our dedicated and qualified building and asbestos surveyors and consultants are experienced in detecting and managing any asbestos-containing materials in any building. We also pride ourselves on our strong relationships with clients and duty holders, which often spans many years, due to our personal, reliable, and pragmatic approach. We ensure that any asbestos identified is reported so that it can be managed safely and effectively, as well as offering consultancy removal services.

We are experienced in working in all types of properties and structures, including those with difficult access and heritage and environmental considerations. We are sensitive and sympathetic during our works, adapting to each individual survey requirements, particularly when surveying historic and listed buildings. We work with facilities managers, project managers, building contractors, architects, homeowners, property agencies, and public health officials to name a few.

Asbestos-related issues are one of the most highly regulated areas in the UK. The regulations governing the legal requirement for asbestos surveys are:

Bellamy Surveying and Consultancy Services Ltd provides asbestos survey reports in line with all current legislation and legal compliance. The company is also fully insured covering public liability, employer’s liability and professional indemnity insurances.
We are proudly certified to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems. This means we have clearly demonstrated our commitment to the highest standards of quality covering customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, improvement, evidence-based decision making, and relationship management.
In addition, we are a SafePQQ verified Safe Contractorand a member of ACAD Asbestos Control and Abatement Division.
All our surveyors and consultants are fully trained and certificated for the service they are conducting. These certifications include:
- Requisite P402 Asbestos Surveying Certificates
- BSc Degree and HNC level Building Surveying certification
- Confined Space and BA Rescue Certification
- Work at Height IPAF MEWP Certification
- Trained and certificated in First Aid
- Disclosure & Barring Service Enhanced Certificates (DBS)
